Christopher White

Cinematographer, Camera Operator

Christopher White is a Métis filmmaker who traces his ancestry to the Cree community of Maskwacis as well as the Métis Red River Settlement.

For the past 12 years, Christopher has been producing videos for a wide variety of corporate clients, working as director, cinematographer, editor, writer and stop-motion animator. He is also an experienced narrative filmmaker and his feature film, I Fall Down (2015) was nominated for five Rosie Awards, including Best Feature Film and Best Director.

With a Master’s Degree in Anthropology, Christopher brings his interest and knowledge of diverse human cultures as well as a holistic approach to all of his work.

Chris is also an experienced educator and teaches Anthropology courses through Portage College - including "Race and Racism and Aboriginal Peoples of North America."
